I'd say the quality is comparable to Carel Paris, maybe even a bit better. My pumps from Racine Carree are super comfortable and the craftsmanship is noticeable. Not like fast fashion stuff at all.

For boots, I sometimes go up half a size if I'm planning to wear thicker socks, but for my sandals, my regular size was fine. If you're between sizes, maybe go up.
